Hi, my name is Priscila, but everyone calls me Pris.
I am a Senior Product Designer who has been continuously working for the last 14 years, wearing many hats in the journey, such as Digital Designer, Web Designer, UI Designer, UX Designer, Product Manager, and Product Lead.
I've had the pleasure to be a part of teams where scientific research, solar energy, road safety, and even ancient document preservation have been our center of attention and our daily bread.
My short background in Alimentary Chemistry led me to develop a particular interest in Research & Development projects, where I've had the most impact over the years, but have slowly drifted to the renewable energies sector, particularly solar enegy, out of the will to learn more about it.
I consider myself highly analytical and structured in my work. I’m confident that my strengths lie in planning, organizing, and prioritizing. I am always reliable when it comes to punctually delivering results.

Throughout the years, the work experiences I've had increased my confidence to drive the complete creation cycle of a product, from concept, to UX, UI, and testing the implementation, which includes the development of information architecture and decision flows. I adapt to the role that is needed in the day-to-day in the team.
UX: Wireframing, user journey maps, persona creation, design workshops.
UI: Mock-ups for responsive, desktop and app design, functional prototypes.
Design Ops: Design systems creation and maintenance with and without CSS.
Audiovisual: Video production and post-production.
Coding familiarity: HTML, CSS, React, Aurelia.
Feature documentation in traditional format like PRDs or using Gherkin specs for Engineering.
Working in agile teams with Designers and Software Engineers. Familiar with SCRUM and Kanban WoWs.
Organising and moderating workshops for stakeholders to refine features.
Creation of roadmaps following OKRs or metrics established by the organization.

Alongside my technical expertise, these soft skills define how I approach work and collaboration:
Problem solver: Driven by a genuine curiosity for challenges, I dive deep into understanding the why and how behind problems. Through research, interviews, and thoughtful design execution, I work towards meaningful and effective solutions.
Team player: “We are all in the same boat” — I strongly believe in shared responsibility for collective success. Clear roles and collaboration ensure we move forward together.
Strong communicator: No matter the medium — whether messaging tools, emails, presentations, or UI walkthroughs — I ensure clear and timely communication. I am responsive and available when the team needs clarity or support.
Time management: I keep deadlines in sharp focus while delivering high-quality work. Although design is an iterative process, I value time constraints as a key factor in maintaining efficiency and staying within budget. My always-open calendar reflects this mindset.
Highly organized: From folders to files, everything is structured with precision using clear naming conventions (date, description, version). I believe that order enables clarity — every detail has its place.
